☕️I met my younger self for coffee today.

She almost canceled—hates going anywhere alone. I showed up early, laptop open.

She orders a filtered coffee—three sugars, one milk. I get an iced oat shaken espresso with hazelnut.

She asks if I’m still running my dance studio. I tell her I started a new business, helping entrepreneurs grow online through social media—with a flexible schedule that works for me and my family.

She tells me she’s exhausted—long hours teaching, the pressure to succeed, the competitiveness of the dance world. Then she asks, does the anxiety ever go away?

I tell her not completely, but I’ve learned not to let it make all the decisions anymore. Building a business isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up, learning as you go, and trusting yourself.

She asks if I ever started that blog I dreamed of. I tell her I did—a dog mom blog that led me to amazing friends, a passion for storytelling, and a social media career I love.

She asks if I’m married with a bunch of kids. I smile. Life didn’t go as planned, but I’m moving into my new home soon—with my son and my dog.

She tells me she’s proud of me.
I tell her, so am I.
